The viewing and launch sites (off-limits areas) will be closed to vehicular traffic from around 15:00 on the 30th, and the Omagari Station area will be closed to vehicular traffic from 18:00 to 24:00 on the 31st.

In addition, since no drop-off is allowed at the Yamane IC of the Omagari West Road and congestion is expected at the Omagari IC of the Akita Expressway, a roundabout route to and from the event is being suggested. Visitors are also encouraged to use the “Park and Ride” service to transfer from cars to trains at Jinguji, Kariwano, Hagosakai, and Hago Nagano Stations.

For pedestrians, a train waiting line (four lines in total for Akita, Yokote, Tazawako and Komachi trains) will be formed at Omagari Station from 8:30 p.m. on March 31.

JR East Akita Branch will operate extra trains in the Akita, Yokote, and Morioka areas on August 31. Komachi No. 365, No. 367, No. 374, and No. 376 will be available only at the Midori-no madoguchi and reserved seat ticket vending machines (reservations cannot be made through Ekinetto). Please check the official website for the latest information.
