JR East Japan Trading will start pre-sales of “Suica no Penguin Hot Sandwich Maker” on August 27. It measures 15 x 35 x 3.2 cm (W x D x H) when closed, weighs 410 g, and is priced at 4,500 yen.
It can easily make two different Suica penguin grill marks on the front and back. Because it is an open flame type that does not use electricity, it is said to work well both at home and outdoors.
Pre-sales will be conducted through the “Net de Ekinaka” locker pickup service, which allows customers to order products online and pick them up at designated station lockers. In-store sales, including at TRAINIART, will begin sequentially after September 11.
