Hatahachi Development and Advance will open “Road Station Yachihodo Kogen” (1190-1 Oaza Hatahachi, Sakuho-machi, Minamisaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture) in Minamisaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture, on September 27.
Located one minute from the Yachiho-kogen Interchange on the Chubu Chubu Highway, it is expected to be used not only by local residents but also by tourists from Yamanashi Prefecture and the Kanto and Joshinetsu regions.
The direct sales shop “Minasaku Marche Bloomi” offers a variety of vegetables and fruits produced by local farmers, including prunes, apples, blueberries, cucumbers, and other specialty products of Nagano Prefecture.
Restaurant “BISTRO8” offers dishes using local ingredients such as river fish, buckwheat noodles, highland vegetables, and Sakuho pork, as the farthest roadside station restaurant from the sea. The Yachiji Café serves original coffee blends and soft-serve ice cream using water from the Yachiho Plateau.
The outdoor store “mont-bell” will open its first store in the Higashi-Shin area on the site, selling outdoor products including mountain climbing equipment. Climbing experience is also available in the store.
In addition, the facility is equipped with a 5-lot overnight stay facility “YACHI STATION,” a rental e-bike “YACHI WHEEL,” a tourist information center “Yachihodo Highlands Visitor Center,” a convenience store (Family Mart), a dog run, and coin-operated showers, and will be operated as a new regional promotion site in Sakuho Town. The company plans to operate the facility as a new regional promotion center for Sakuho Town.
