JAL cancels 289 domestic flights for 29th-30th. Flights to/from Kyushu, etc. due to Typhoon No. 10.

JAL announced flight cancellations for August 29-30 due to the approach of Typhoon No. 10 (as of 11:00 a.m. on August 29).

On the 29th, 276 domestic flights to/from Yamaguchi-Ube, Matsuyama, Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, Oita, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, Tanegashima, Yaku-shima, etc. are cancelled. International flights will not be affected.

On the 30th, 13 domestic flights (Yamaguchi Ube to Haneda, Fukuoka to Haneda/Naha, Oita to Haneda, Nagasaki to Haneda, Kumamoto to Haneda/Itami, Miyazaki to Haneda/Fukuoka, Kagoshima to Haneda/Itami) departing mainly from Kyushu area at 07:00 will be cancelled.

No detailed information is available on flight cancellations and delays on August 31, but flights to and from Centrair (Chubu), Itami, Kansai, Nanki-Shirahama, Tajima, Okayama, Hiroshima, Tokushima, Takamatsu, Kochi, and Matsuyama are affected (as of 1 pm, August 29).

For flights expected to be affected by the typhoon, changes (transfers) and refunds will be accepted without charge. Please check the “Flight Status Information” on the official website for the applicable airports.
