NEXCO Central Japan expects to close some sections of the New Tomei Expressway, including the Shin-Shizuoka IC to Shimada-Kanaya IC, due to the approach of Typhoon No. 10.

NEXCO Central Japan has issued a warning that road closures may occur as Typhoon No. 10 approaches.

The New Tomei Expressway will be closed from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on August 29 for the Shin-Shizuoka IC to Shimada-Kanaya IC up and down, Isehara-Oyama IC to Shin-Hatano IC up and down, and from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. on August 30 for the Shimada-Kanaya IC to Mori-Kakegawa IC and Shin-Shizuoka IC to Shin-Shimizu IC.

Also, the Tomei Expressway from the Kikugawa IC to the Hamamatsu IC, the Yoshida IC to the Numazu IC, and the Odawara-Atsugi-Nishi IC on the Odawara-Atsugi Road may also be closed on the 30th.
