On September 2, Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts and Yu-Kai Resort announced that they will merge all 66 facilities operated by the two companies into the “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group” starting November 1.
As a result, 64 facilities will be named “Oedo Onsen Monogatari,” “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium,” “TAOYA,” or “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Wan Wan Resort” inns. In addition, the official membership service “Iifuro Membership” will be introduced to all inns in the future, and the cuisine and service level will be reviewed to make it one of the largest casual hot spring inn brands in Japan, taking advantage of the strengths of the two companies.
While the travel market is recovering to the level it was before the Corona disaster, there are concerns about the dilution of “travel culture” due to the weak yen and the loss of travel habits.
The new theme for the integration is “Let’s go out to Nippon. The brand movie and TV commercials will also be shown under the new theme, “Let’s go out to Nippon. The brand proposes reasonably priced hot spring trips, including comfortable hot springs and gourmet buffets that anyone can easily visit whenever the mood strikes them.
In addition, to commemorate the brand integration, the “Iiifuro! Sa~ko~ Campaign” to commemorate the brand integration. Iifuro members receive a 15% discount on the “Standard Plan,” and those who make reservations and stay at the hotel will also receive a 500-yen coupon for use the next time they visit. When combined with the “Iifuro bill,” a benefit for Iifuro members, this means a total of 1,000 yen worth of coupons will be given, making the campaign even more economical.
The campaign covers stays from November 1 to February 28, 2025 for check-in. Reservations are being accepted at all Oedo Onsen Monogatari and Yuraikai Resort facilities.
