YOSHINO (Yoshino Power Japan) is holding a disaster preparedness sale on Amazon from September 1 to 9 in conjunction with Disaster Preparedness Day on September 1. The company will sell the world’s first solid-state battery portable power supply developed by the company and a set of solar panels at a special price.
The company’s solid-state batteries can be used in high-temperature environments of up to 60°C and in low temperatures as low as -10°C. In addition, the battery cells themselves are fire-resistant and will not ignite even if damaged, so they can be used safely in outdoor and disaster prevention applications. Furthermore, the solid-state battery can retain more than 80% of its capacity even after 4,000 charge-discharge cycles.
The targeted products for this sale include the “B2000 SST” and the “SP200”. The “B2000 SST” is a portable power supply with a large capacity of 1326Wh and can output at 2000W.
It is said to be capable of running almost all electrical appliances, including hair dryers, electric kettles, induction stoves, and other cooking appliances. In addition, its large 1326Wh capacity can power a 35W mini-fridge for about 1.5 days or a 100W TV for about 11 hours.
The “SP200” is a solar panel that can be connected to the company’s solid-state batteries to charge the battery itself as long as sunlight is available. It can generate up to 200W of power, and in the case of “B2000 SST,” can fully charge the battery in about 7.5 hours.
The material is a monocrystalline silicon panel with a sunlight conversion efficiency of 22.6%. In addition, the IP67 waterproof and dustproof performance makes it safe to use even on rainy days.
