On September 4, Belluna held a hotel business briefing at its Tokyo headquarters, introducing three hotels to be opened or renovated in the Hokkaido area. The company, which mainly operates specialty mail-order, apparel goods, and kimono-related businesses, has positioned its property and hotel business as a growth area (growth business) from 2024. The company operates 22 facilities in Japan and four overseas under the name GRANBELL HOTELS & RESORTS.

In July 2025, the Otaru GRANBELL HOTEL, the eighth location in the Hokkaido area, is scheduled to open. An art museum is also under consideration to open on the land adjacent to the hotel. President Yasuno said, “We hope that people will stop by while visiting popular stores such as Kitaichi Glass, while making use of the many works of art we have.
