JR Group announced the sales outline of “Autumn Unlimited Ride Pass” and “Autumn Unlimited Ride Pass Hokkaido Shinkansen Option Ticket”.
The “Autumn Unlimited Ride Pass” allows unlimited rides on ordinary non-reserved seats of ordinary and rapid trains, BRT, and JR West Miyajima Ferry throughout Japan. For an additional fee, unreserved seats in ordinary and green carriages are also available. The ticket is valid for three consecutive days, and like the Seishun 18 Ticket, one ticket cannot be used by more than one person.
Limited express and express trains, including the Shinkansen, and reserved seats in green cars are not available, and in addition to the various fare tickets, it is necessary to purchase a ticket for the corresponding section of the train.
The sales period is from September 13 to October 18, and the usage period is from October 5 to 20. The price is 7,850 yen (3,920 yen for children).
The “Autumn Unlimited Ride Pass Hokkaido Shinkansen Option Ticket” is a one-way ticket for an empty seat in a regular car on the Hokkaido Shinkansen between Okutsugaru-Mamabetsu Station and Kikonai Station, and between Kikonai Station and Goryokaku Station on the Donan Isaribi Railway Line.
When using the Hokkaido Shinkansen with seat reservations, or when making stopovers at any station on the Donan Isaribi Railway Line except Kikonai Station, the fare and charges for the entire ride will be required. Also, when using the pass, it must be presented at the same time as the Autumn Unlimited Ride Pass.
It will be on sale from September 13 to October 20 and available from October 5 to 20 (same as the “Autumn Unlimited Ride Pass”), priced at 2,490 yen (1,240 yen for children).
