Peach Aviation will gradually introduce Peach Baggage Tag Kiosks starting September 11. The machines will be available at Narita, Kansai, Shin-Chitose (Sapporo), and Naha (Okinawa) airports for domestic departures.
For checked baggage that has already been applied for, a tag will be automatically issued by placing the 2D code on the boarding pass over the issuing machine, eliminating the need to visit a manned counter. However, baggage weighing 20 kg or more (which incurs an overweight charge) and baggage that is treated as “sports equipment” will require a procedure at a manned counter.
