Project Outline
JICA is committed to providing young people, who will be responsible for the future, with easy-to-understand information about our international cooperation projects,
A “manga version” of the project history, which summarizes the trajectory and results of the project, is being published.
The first half of the event will feature one of the manga versions of the Project History, “Learning to Pioneer the Future – Anytime, Anywhere, Anyone,” in which the manga’s main character, Ms. Chiho Ohashi, will talk about her experiences overcoming various difficulties while working on several educational projects in Pakistan over a period of about 15 years. She will talk about her own experiences of overcoming various difficulties while working on several educational projects in Pakistan over the past 15 years.
In the latter half of the seminar, we will also invite Mr. Yoichi, an educational Youtuber who has been supporting many students from elementary to high school by providing free lessons on YouTube for children who cannot go to cram schools, etc. The two, who are struggling in Japan and Pakistan, will talk about the power of education to open up the future for children.
We would like to learn about JICA’s role in international cooperation and the enthusiasm and struggles of the people involved in its projects, and would like to think with you about the nature of international cooperation in the new era.
There will be time for Q&A, so please feel free to attend!
