Dorcom will release “Disney STEP” (Android/iOS), a smartphone game that uses location information to enjoy a treasure hunt with Disney friends, in spring 2025.
Prior to the service, an advance trial (beta test) will be conducted from September 26, 13:00 to October 7, 10:00. The official website is currently accepting applications for players (until 23:59 on September 17).
Disney STEP” turns the real environment into a game field by using the player’s location information function. Players can discover treasure chests and treasures based on motifs from Disney’s works hidden in the city and enjoy collecting them.
By helping Mickey Mouse and his friends in the game find things, they can receive gifts. The game also includes challenging elements such as trying to complete the treasure. In addition, players can dress up their avatars in their favorite costumes for the treasure hunt.
