GOTO opened Shippo no Mori Resort Shirahama (3053 Shirahama-cho, Nishimuro-gun, Wakayama Prefecture), a glamping facility where you can enjoy saunas and hot springs with your dog, on September 13.
Only one cottage is available for rent, and lodging is limited to one couple per day. The maximum number of guests is 10, and the price ranges from 75,000 yen to 100,000 yen (tax not included).
A private dog run is available in the yard of the cottage where dogs can run freely. The facilities are said to have been built with dogs in mind, with special flooring that prevents dogs from slipping even when they run. In addition, amenities such as toilets and gauges are available, and guests can also sleep with their dogs on beds.
The rooms are equipped with an open-air bath with a panoramic view of Shirahama. The open-air baths are fed by Yusaki hot spring water. It is also equipped with a kitchen with IH and a projector.
From the cottage you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. The terrace overlooking the beach has a private sauna and dog run. It is also possible to purchase local food and have BBQ on the terrace.
