Mitsui Fudosan and Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management will open Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Tsukiji (4-7-1 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on September 30.
Located a 3-minute walk from Higashi-ginza Station and a 4-minute walk from Tsukiji Station, it is also within walking distance to the center of Ginza. The concept is “LIFE PLACE” where you can feel “a little bit higher quality everyday life,” and the building is environmentally friendly with green spaces, wooden furniture, and amenities made from biomass materials.
The 14-story building with one basement floor has 183 guest rooms. All rooms are equipped with a washer/dryer, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, and under-bed storage space to ensure a comfortable stay even on consecutive nights. There are eight room types, including the “Deluxe Triple” (46m2) and “Accessible Triple” (46.6m2), both with kitchens that allow guests to enjoy cooking with ingredients purchased at Tsukiji Outside Market, and the “Deluxe Corner Twin” (39.3m2), a room with a large balcony window from which guests can enjoy the view of the city. The hotel features a large bath on the first basement floor designed to look like a cave, a refreshment space on the second floor where guests can relax with free coffee surrounded by natural art, a fitness center on the ninth floor equipped with Technogym machines, and a Japanese tableware store “URIKIRIYA” on the first floor, which is owned by a pottery store that has been in business for over 120 years. URIKIRIYA, a Japanese tableware shop on the first floor, is owned by a ceramics shop that has been in business for more than 120 years.
As for restaurants, “GINZA ONO Gratia-Smoke Dining-“, a wood-fired restaurant (breakfast/lunch/dinner) on the 14th floor, and “ONO Market-Deli & cafe GINZA-“, a cafe selling cup deli, fresh bread and sweets that can be enjoyed in guest rooms, opened in the 1st floor lobby. Both cafes can be used by non-guests as well. Both of these cafes are open to non-guests as well.
