Mystays Hotel Management will operate the Kashima Central Hotel (4-7-11 Onohara, Kamisu City, Ibaraki Prefecture) from October 9.
The new building will be rebranded to “Art Hotel Kashima Central” (full-service brand) and the main building to “Flex Stay Inn Kashima Central” (mid- to long-term stay brand) on December 4.
This hotel is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Tokyo Station by direct express bus, 15 minutes by car from JR Shirogi Station, and 10 minutes by car from the Shirogi Interchange on the Higashi-Kansai Expressway. The hotel is located for easy access to tourist attractions such as the breath shrine and Kashima Jingu Shrine, as well as the Kashima coastal industrial zone.
The main building (174 rooms) opened in 1972, and the new building (123 rooms) opened in June 2000 in time for the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
The new building has 16 stories above ground and one below, and as a landmark hotel in the Rokko area, it is the tallest in the area.
In addition to guest rooms (single, twin, suite, etc.) that can accommodate both business and family travelers, the hotel has restaurants (Japanese and Chinese cuisine), banquet halls, a chapel, a temple, and hot bath facilities.
In addition, visitors can enjoy 100% natural hot spring water at the “Kashima Central Natural Hot Spring Yunohana Bijin-no-Yu” attached to the hotel.
