Loft announced that it will close Umeda Loft in the spring of 2025 and relocate and open in the same Osaka Kita area.
The store, which opened in April 1990 as the Kansai flagship of Loft following the first Shibuya store, has been selling trendy sundries in Chayamachi for 34 years. With the expiration of the building contract, the store will operate at its current location (16-7 Chayamachi, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) until spring 2025, when it will reopen as the new Umeda Loft.
