JR East Tohoku General Service (LiViT) will release new goods featuring “Shinkichi-kun,” the PR character of the JR East Shinkansen General Rolling Stock Center in Rifu-cho, Miyagi Prefecture.
The lineup includes “Shinkichi-kun Eco Bag” (3 types, 800 yen each) and “Shinkichi-kun Acrylic Key Chain” (5 types, 400 yen each), which will be sold at the LiViT booth in the “Koriyama General Rolling Stock Center Open House 2024” to be held on September 21 in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture. General sales will begin in late October at the “Tohoku MONO WEB SHOP” in JRE MALL Shopping.
The eco-bags are designed with Shinkichi-kun motifs of the E5 and 200 Series Shinkansen trains, and come in three types: Shinkichi-kun sitting up straight, Shinkichi-kun in Date Masamune costume, and Shinkichi-kun lounging around. The size is approximately 32 x 19.5 x 35.5 cm (W x D x H).
The acrylic key chains are sold as a “gacha-gacha,” a type of gacha-cha, in which you can enjoy which one you get. It is recommended to complete a set of five types, including a rosette ribbon style and a pear motif, a specialty of Rifu Town. The size varies depending on the type and is within 3.7 x 4.9 cm (width x height).
