JR West will release “Autumn Osaka/Sakai Outing Pass (Go with ICOCA),” a free ticket exclusively for the “KANSAI MaaS” application, on September 27. The price is 1,500 yen for adults, valid from October 1 to December 28, and the validity period is one day.
The package includes a “Sakai Omotenashi Ticket (Hankai Expanded Version)” that allows unlimited rides for one day on the JR Line free tour section (Osaka/Sakai City area), designated Nankai Bus Sakai City area and all Hankai Train lines, and a ticket that can be exchanged for four “Sakai Souvenirs”.
To use the JR Lines, ICOCA registered on the “KANSAI MaaS” application and registration for the WESTER Point (charge-only) service are required. When boarding the train, passengers pay the fare from their ICOCA balance, and the equivalent amount is later redeemed as cash back in the form of charge-only WESTER points.
Sakai Omotenashi tickets and souvenir tickets must be exchanged at the designated counter on the day of use.
