On October 1, APA Hotel opened “APA Hotel ” (1-4 Aragami-cho, Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture).

The hotel is a five-minute walk from Hiroshima Station (South Exit) on the JR Sanyo Shinkansen and Sanyo Main Line, and is located between Hiroshima Station and the MAZDA Zoom-Zoom Stadium Hiroshima.

In addition to changing the normally orange gate to red, a total of nine red points have been added to the room card keys, mats, origami cranes, and other items to match the number of times the Hiroshima Toyo Carp has won the Central League championship. The hotel plans to add one red point for every championship won by the Carp in the future. The red gate is the only one of its kind in Japan.

In addition to the standard 242 guest rooms, there are also “Train View Rooms,” which offer a view of the train from inside the room, and “S-S Connect Twin Rooms,” which can be used by up to four people by connecting adjacent rooms, comprising 86 pairs of 172 rooms, or approximately 70% of all guest rooms.

In addition, T-4 specification window sashes with excellent sound insulation have been adopted, and the shave has been changed from a two-blade to a three-blade razor. The shaving machine is scheduled to be introduced nationwide in the future.

In addition, in order to create inbound-oriented guest rooms, the hotel has adopted a total of 496 pictograms for in-building signage and information, BBC News in English, free “Wi-Fi6” connection, universal power outlets, and a five-language “Digital Information” system that displays hotel information and other information on a TV screen. The APA Digital Information system is available in five languages and displays hotel information on a TV screen.

In the Hiroshima Ekimae area, the company is concentrating on opening new hotels, and currently operates three buildings with 1,263 rooms. The company plans to reopen the APA Hotel Hiroshima Ekimae in 2027 as a new 221-room hotel, and plans to open the 32-story, 600-room APA Hotel & Resort Hiroshima Ekimae Tower in 2028.
