On October 2, JR East started linking Apple Maps and “Ekinetto”.
When you search for a route in the JR East area on Apple Maps, a link to “Ekinet” is displayed. By keeping the searched route and moving to “Ekinetto”, you can smoothly purchase tickets for Shinkansen and limited express trains.
The service covers routes completed within the JR East area and the Hokkaido Shinkansen section (Shin-Aomori Station to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station). Applications are accepted from 5:00 am to 1:50 am (excluding 23:50 am to 0:10 am).
