ANA FESTA, which operates gift stores in airports, released “3 letter code tote bags” for 29 airports in Japan on October 3. The price is 1,650 yen.
The 3-letter code is a three-letter alphabet used by IATA (International Air Transport Association) to indicate airports and their cities. It is used worldwide and is also indicated on airline tickets and airport billboards.
The first 24 airport 3-letter code tote bags, which went on sale on June 20, were so well received that many people on SNS and other social networking sites asked for versions for airports other than the 24, so we have now added 24 new types, including KIX (Kansai International Airport) and ITM (Itami Airport). The new lineup includes 24 additional airport versions, including KIX (Kansai International Airport) and ITM (Itami Airport). With this new lineup, ANA now has designs for all 53 airports in Japan served by the airline.
The tote bags are made of 100% cotton and measure 36 x 11 x 37 cm (W x D x H). Each is available in two colors, black and white. They can be used as souvenirs for a trip or as a sub-bag when you have more luggage, and are recommended for daily use.
The “PUSH BACK” logo is also placed on the back to evoke the start of a journey (pushback is the process of using a towing car to push an airplane on the tarmac to a place where it can begin its own journey).
The 29 new items will be sold at the ANA FESTA B1 Floor Gift Shop on the B1 floor of Haneda Airport’s Terminal 2 building and at the ANA FESTA Delivery Service (order online and have it delivered to your home).
