Familia will release limited-edition regional collaboration items with BEAMS JAPAN on October 18.
The two companies have been developing items featuring the Chinese zodiac since 2021, with the hope of “providing children with an opportunity to become familiar with Japanese culture in a fun way. This time, local items will appear for the first time in collaboration.
Focusing on Kobe and Tokyo, where Familia and BEAMS Japan have stores, three items are available: a bag, a drawstring shoulder bag, and a mini towel handkerchief, each depicting a cityscape. The color scheme is inspired by each brand, and features artwork of a bear and a dog strolling through the port of Kobe and the streets of Tokyo while drinking coffee.
The two bags are made of nylon material, which is easy to use in everyday life, for trips to the park or outdoor activities, and the mini towel handkerchief, which is easy to use regardless of gender, is recommended as a souvenir or gift.
