SQUEEZE and ES-CON Japan plan to open a commercial building hotel, ES-CON Field HOKKAIDO Hotel Kitahiroshima Ekimae (1-52 Sakae-cho, Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido), in March 2025 as part of the JR Kitahiroshima Station “Station West Exit Area Revitalization Project.
The hotel is part of the “Complex Interaction Hub” (city-owned lot A) included in the first phase of the “Kitahiro Hometown BASE” project to revitalize the area around the west exit of the station, which was formulated by ES-CON Japan and Kitahiroshima City in April 2021.
As a new gateway to Kitahiroshima Station, the station square will be redeveloped under the concept of a “life innovation hub” and will be a place of interaction for local residents and tourists to use.
The hotel will have a total of 158 guest rooms, and plans to introduce a contactless smart check-in system and guest information using an online concierge. The hotel will also have a park within the hotel.
SQUEEZE has been operating the “tower eleven hotel” hotel and the “tower eleven onsen & sauna” hot spring bath facility at the Hokkaido Ball Park F Village since March 2023.
