Moomin Valley Park, new character “Moran” winter. Fantastic Aurora Borealis and fireworks over the lake are also available with a night pass!

Posted on 2024-10-162024-11-04 by Editor in Chief

Moomin Story will hold the winter event “WINTER WONDERLAND in MOOMINVALLEY PARK 2024” at Moomin Valley Park (327-6 Miyazawa, Hanno, Saitama Prefecture), which is based on the theme of life in Northern Europe. The event will run from November 1 to January 13, 2025.

In conjunction with this, a new character, Moran, has been introduced. She is a female demon clad in cold air, and her chilly presence will make the park even more attractive in winter. The characters will perform together in the “Moomin Valley Winter Parade” at night (twice a day).

In the gorgeously decorated park, snow dances gracefully around the Moomin Valley area during the bright daytime, and at night, a fantastic aurora borealis and “Gnoronjoro” appear one after another in a projection mapping.

Also, “Fireworks Display on the Lake in the Moomin Valley – Winter” will be held, with fireworks shooting into the winter night sky, limited to Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays through January 13, 2025 (except December 31 and January 1), for approximately 5 minutes starting at 6:30 p.m. each day.

From 4:00 p.m., a “Night Pass” will be available to enjoy WINTER WONDERLAND at a discount price. Advance tickets are priced at 2,300 yen and day-of-performance tickets at 2,500 yen.
