B’s released the “Slim Suitcase LBB-800,” a 61L slim suitcase from its hobby goods brand BIBILABR.
The slim body was achieved by securing space vertically with a width of 36.5 cm and a height of 87 cm, whereas the width of a standard suitcase of the same capacity is 45-50 cm. The width of the case is about the same as the average Japanese woman’s shoulder width, making it easy for her to pass through station gates and get on and off escalators.
The internal height of 79.5 cm allows for the storage of long objects such as camera tripods and A1 posters, and can also be strapped to the outside by combining a commercially available belt with the D-can on the side of the body.
The front of the body has a front opening mechanism that can be used as a mini-table for a simple dining table or luggage storage, and behind it is a pocket for an A4-size laptop computer or tablet. Other features include a USB port for charging smartphones (mobile battery required), a plastic bottle holder, and luggage hooks.
Body size (W x D x H) is 36.5 x 25 x 87 cm, internal dimensions are 34 x 24 x 79.5 cm, and the price is open, with actual sales around 30,000 yen.
