Amazon (Amazon Japan) is offering a Prime members-only sale on the Fire HD 10 kids model. At the time of writing, it is 42% off at 13,980 yen, compared to the reference price of 23,980 yen.
This is a model for kids of tablets with a unique Android-based OS. It offers unlimited use of picture books, learning manga, children’s books, learning and programming apps, games, and videos for one year, as well as a function for parents to set usage time in 15-minute increments.
It can also be used as a regular general-purpose Fire HD 10 tablet by entering a PIN.
Note that a successor (13th generation) has already been introduced for this product.
