The Marunouchi Illumination Executive Committee will hold “Marunouchi Illumination 2024” from November 14 to February 16, 2025, with approximately 820,000 light bulbs in the Otemachi – Yurakucho area. Lighting hours are from 16:00 to 23:00 (until 24:00 in December).
This winter event features approximately 286 trees along the 1.2-km main street “Marunouchi Nakadori Avenue” and other streets around Tokyo Station and the Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan in front of Yurakucho Station, all colored in champagne gold. This year marks the 23rd year of the event.
In addition, “Gyoko-dori Avenue Illumination 2024” will be held from November 28 to December 25 on a portion of Gyoko-dori Avenue, which connects Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens.
From November 14 to December 25, “Marunouchi Street Park 2024 Winter” will be held along Gyoko-dori Avenue and Marunouchi Naka-dori Avenue, featuring a 500-meter Christmas market and kitchen cars. The venue will be greatly expanded from the three blocks (about 300 meters) in 2023 to a total of five blocks, the largest ever.
