JR West Hotel Kaihatsu will accept reservations for sales of “JR West Hotels Osechi” for delivery at the end of 2024 from September 12 to December 6.

This year, two types of osechi are on sale: “Kinsan san-dan ‘Kyoku – kiwami'” and “Japanese/Western two-dan ‘Sai – irodori'”. Both are a combination of Japanese and Western dishes. Reservations can be made through the website (to be released in the future) or at the hotel’s storefront.

The “Kinsai 3-dan ‘Kyoku – kiwami'” is a 53-item osechi consisting of the first and second layers, which include Japanese dishes such as abalone and conger eel, and the third layer, which includes Western dishes such as roast beef and smoked salmon. The regular price is 40,000 yen, but JR Hotel Members or WESTER members can purchase it for 36,500 yen. Reservations made by November 4 are eligible for the early bird discount price, which is 37,000 yen for regular and 36,000 yen for members.

The “Japanese/Western 2-stage ‘Sai -irodori'” will consist of 41 items, including the first layer of chestnut kinton and herring roe, and the second layer of French cuisine such as smoked duck. The regular price is 26,000 yen, and the member price is 24,000 yen.

In addition, the company also offers sake sets as options, with the “Nara Sake Set” available for 7,500 yen and the “Toyama Sake Set” for 7,000 yen. These can be purchased until December 2, with delivery scheduled for December 20.
