Casio Computer Co., Ltd. will release the MRG-B2000JS, a limited edition of 800 pieces worldwide in November, with a motif of a Japanese sword from its top-of-the-line MR-G G-SHOCK series. The price is 1,100,000 yen.

This model is based on the original Japanese sword “Gravity Maru – San (San)”, with the sword blade by swordsmith Teruhei Ueyama and the blue shell (raden) scabbard by traditional craftsman Mamoru Nomura, both of whom were inspired by the MG-R series.

The blade pattern is expressed by a recrystallized hybrid titanium bezel, which is made by laminating 64 titanium and pure titanium, compressing them at high temperature and high pressure, cutting, polishing, and recrystallizing them, and the band is decorated with a texture using the blue shell design used on the scabbard.

On the back of the watch, swordsmith Teruhei Ueyama hand-engraved the word “Tsan” one by one using the same technique used to cut the name of a Japanese sword.

The dial has a hishimaki (diamond-shaped) pattern used for the handle of “Gravity Maru -San-“, and the index has a curved surface shape inspired by the warp of a sword.

It is equipped with a Tough Solar system and Bluetooth radio wave solar power, and is water resistant to 20 atmospheres.
