JR West will operate a wrapping train for the 2025 Japan International Exposition (Osaka-Kansai Expo) in the Okayama area.
The Series 213 trains running on the Sanyo Main Line (Higashi Okayama to Mihara), Ako Line (Banshu-Ako to Higashi Okayama), and Hakubi Line (Kurashiki to Niimi) will feature the official character “Myakumyaku” and other designs. Inside the trains, advertisements conveying the attractions of the Osaka-Kansai Expo will be displayed, and the trains will be painted in the colors of the Expo to heighten the excitement of the opening of the event.
The service will be in operation from November 1 until the end of the Expo period.
