Tokyo Banana World, a GrapeStone company, will sell “Chiikawa Banana Pudding Cake,” a “muncha-umami” collaboration with Chiikawa, at the symbolic “Tokyo Banana Tree” store inside the Yaesu central ticket gate of JR Tokyo Station.
Limited time offer from November 5 to 18. Priced at 810 yen for 4 pieces or 1706 yen for 8 pieces with original sticker.
The softly baked sponge cake is filled with a thick banana pudding-flavored custard cream and bittersweet caramel cream, and the dough is decorated with “Chiikawa,” “Hachiware,” and “Usagi” (rabbit). You will have to wait until you open the package to see which one is inside. Also, an original sticker (total of 3 kinds) comes with each pack of 8 pieces at random. The stickers are so cute that it would be a shame to eat them, and they are recommended as souvenirs or gifts to take with you on your outings.
The outer packaging is also a limited collaboration version that emphasizes the importance of “eye contact” with the sparkling eyes of the Chiikawas. The outer package is specially designed with a fluffy touch like that of Tokyo Banana. The individual packages are designed with the Chiikawas wearing Tokyo Banana headgear decorated with ribbons.
In addition, a specially designed paper bag (one per item purchased) will be available to hold the products to commemorate the collaboration.
