The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Grant Agreement (G/A) with the government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) for the “Vientiane International Airport Development Project” in Vientiane on October 30.

This project aims to improve the efficiency and safety of Vientiane International Airport by expanding the passenger terminal building and repairing the taxiway and apron, thereby contributing to strengthening the country’s industrial base.
