On November 1, Telecom Square installed a self-service Wi-Fi rental service, WiFiBOX, at Amu Plaza Miyazaki Himuka Kirameki Ichiba (1-8 Nishiki-cho, Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture), adjacent to Miyazaki Station.
This is the first installation in Miyazaki Prefecture and completes the rollout to 47 prefectures, starting with 14 locations at the time of service launch in 2022 and expanding to 355 locations nationwide as of November 1, 2024.
To commemorate the achievement of the installation in all 47 prefectures, a campaign is underway in which 47 winners will be selected by drawing to win local prizes from each of the 47 prefectures. To participate, follow the official X (@wifibox_jp) and repost the following post. The period is from 12:00 pm on November 1 to 23:59 pm on November 15.
