Ace adds metal heft to suitcases that open either horizontally or vertically with the 360G4 metallic

Posted on 2024-11-052024-11-18 by Editor in Chief

Ace released the 360G4 metallic from the 360 series of PROTECA, a Japanese-made travel bag brand.

The 360 Series is designed to open vertically or horizontally, allowing the user to change the opening direction according to the situation. The newly released G4 metallic features a body made of polycarbonate mixed resin laminated with a thin metal vapor-deposited film. It combines light weight with the heavy metal texture.

It comes in three colors: navy, red, and silver, and in three sizes: 38L (carry-on size), 53L (checked bag size), and 100L (checked bag size). Prices are 92,400 yen (38L), 96,800 yen (53L), and 110,000 yen (100L).

Silent casters” that reduce body noise and “Bearon wheels” that reduce frictional resistance realize quiet and smooth running. The “Magic Stop” function, which holds the wheels in place with a hand-held switch, prevents the suitcase from running unexpectedly even in shaky environments such as on trains.

It can be opened in two ways: “one compartment” for opening vertically or for storing bulky luggage, and “two compartments” for opening horizontally or for sorting and storing luggage. The interior can be easily switched between the two by using the divider on the lid side and the expansion function on the bottom side.
