On November 5, Tokyo Metro announced the start of construction of the Yurakucho Line extension (between Toyosu and Sumiyoshi) and the Nanboku Line extension (between Shinagawa and Shirokane-Takanawa). Both lines are targeted to open in the mid-2030s.
