Posted on 2024-11-072024-11-24 by Editor in Chief

Ryohin Keikaku, which operates MUJI, will release cat-related pet products on November 20.

The product lineup includes food and treats made from the best ingredients, as well as cat furniture from the same series as the company’s standard lineup.

The food items include two sizes (50 g, 250 yen; 500 g, 1,790 yen) of “Cat Food with the Best Ingredients: Domestic Chicken and Brown Rice with Fish Broth,” made with domestic chicken, barley, and brown rice and finished with bonito and tuna fish broth, as well as a gluten-free, chemical seasoning-, colorant-, and thickener-free, lactic acid bacteria-containing product made from domestic rice flour. Puree “Cat Snacks with the Best Ingredients” comes in four varieties (white meat, tuna, bonito, and fish mix). They are priced at 350 yen each (each 10 g x 4).

Feeding bowls (small 790 yen, large 900 yen) are made of the same materials and colors as the standard “daily dishes” and are sold separately (small 1,290 yen, large 1,490 yen), as are wooden stands whose height can be changed to make it easier for cats to eat.

The furniture lineup includes “Stacking Shelf” (3 shelves x 3 rows, 39,900 yen each), which has vertical and horizontal holes and allows cats to climb up and down the stair-like body; “Wall Mountable Furniture: Steps for Cats, Oak Veneer” (6,990 yen), which can be attached to plasterboard walls with pins; and “Washable Pet Cushion” (beige/hickory, navy/hickory, 3,990 yen each), made of scratch-resistant fabric.
