Shogakukan has collaborated with outdoor brand CHUMS to create the “Iron CHUMS Fire Pit Black Edition” as a supplement to the December issue of BE-PAL. The price is 1,350 yen.
This steel fire pit, decorated with the CHUMS brand logo and the trademark “booby bird” silhouette, is constructed of five planks. It also has an opening for throwing in twigs.
It can be used for grilling steaks on top of a skillet, cooking in a mestin, grilling and cooking chicken.
The size is 14 x 9 x 10 cm, and the “BE-PAL Appendix Fireplace Leather Storage Case” (3,630 yen) is also available as a dedicated genuine leather case on Shogakukan’s mail order site, Shogakukan Department Store Mall.
