Posted on 2024-11-112024-12-03 by Editor in Chief

Hilton Tokyo Bay (1-8 Maihama, Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture) will hold “Strawberry School Life,” a dessert buffet themed on strawberries and youth, from December 28 to April 13, 2025, on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (except January 1).

The venue is the lobby lounge “lounge O”. The lineup of sweet and sour strawberry sweets will be divided into the three areas of “classroom,” “club activities,” and “youth,” the key words of school life. Prices are ¥4,700 for adults, ¥2,600 for 12-9 year olds, and ¥1,800 for 8-4 year olds.

The menu is unique in both appearance and naming. citrus-scented meringue cookies with school uniform ribbons” and “artistic practice paint lollipops,” “jelly to remember that sunset” that you saw on your way home from club activities, and “lunchtime onigiri crunch” that reminds you of lunch you had with your friends.

In addition, there will be some different limited desserts for the first half (December 28 – February 24, 2025) and the second half (March 1 – April 13, 2025) so that guests can enjoy the buffet as many times as they wish.

For example, in the first half, there is the “After-School Eating Strawberry Waffle” that can be eaten with one hand, the “Pistachio Tennis Ball Macaroon” that looks just like it, and the “Strawberry Keyboard Harmonica Roll Cake” inspired by a music class.

In the latter half, visitors can taste “Salted Vanilla Baseball Ball Busse” with strawberries inside, “Music Player Style Strawberry and Cranberry Cookie Sandwich” that sounds like a coming-of-age song, and “Graduation Certificate Cherry Roll Cake” that is also perfect for the season.

In addition, a live station corner will be featured where the staff will finish the dishes right in front of your eyes. In the first half, the chef will serve “melt-in-your-mouth fondant chocolat,” which is typical of the Valentine’s season, and in the second half, “strawberry pudding a la mode,” inspired by the pudding the chef had with his friends after club activities.

In addition, about 15 types of savories (light meals) will be available for all-you-can-eat, including hot sandwiches with dumplings, tomato stew with juicy chicken and melted cheese, and Caesar salad with bright freeze-dried strawberries, creating an endless loop of sweet treats and savories.

The buffet includes a drink bar with about 20 kinds of drinks. For an additional 950 yen, you can order “Tokimeki Aoharu ♡ Strawberry Fizz Springtime of Life,” a special drink with four luxurious strawberries.
