Shizuoka Prefecture has launched a campaign to stimulate demand for travel! Shizuoka Prefecture has launched the “Shizuoka Toku Tabi Campaign” to stimulate demand for travel. As part of the campaign, a stamp rally project, “Overnight Stay and Travel in Shizuoka Stamp Rally,” is being conducted until December 20.
On weekdays, visitors who stay at accommodations in the prefecture and visit tourist facilities and collect stamps will win 5,000 yen worth of accommodation coupons for 2,000 people drawn by lottery.
To participate, download the official Shizuoka Prefecture tourism app “TIPS” (Android/iOS version) and click on the “Shizutabi Stamp Rally” banner on the top page. The process is to obtain a total of four stamps (one for accommodations and three for sightseeing facilities) at the spots you visit during the period and apply for the present. Please note that you can participate in the rally if you stay overnight from Monday to Friday (not if you stay only on Saturday or Sunday).
The target tourist facilities range from theme parks, museums, World Heritage sites, outlets, roadside stations, restaurants and souvenir stores throughout the Izu area, Fuji area, Chubu area and Western area.
