JAL begins accepting applications for the lottery for the first sunrise flight of 2025. First Class to/from Haneda is 210,000 yen for 2 persons.

JAL is accepting applications for the lottery for the “First Sunrise Flight” to be held on January 1, 2025. The first round of applications will be accepted from November 13, 14:00 to November 17, 23:59. The second call for applications will be held from November 18, and the third call for applications will be held from November 25.

The three flights are scheduled to depart from and arrive at Haneda, Narita, and Centrair, all of which will take passengers to view the first sunrise of the New Year and take a scenic flight over Mt.

The flight will feature souvenirs such as Wajima Urushi chopsticks, a traditional handicraft from Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, which were damaged in the earthquake, with the Hatsuhinode Flight logo on them, red and white manjuu (Japanese sweet buns) from Eitaro Sohonsho, sake from Kamikawa Daisetsu Sake Brewery, a boarding pass featuring artwork from Heral Bonnie, an original tall bag, and a stainless tumbler, In addition, an original tall bag, stainless steel tumbler, and Japanese crane with logo are available as souvenirs, and an Osechi-style boxed lunch is served as the in-flight meal.

The travel fee (for flights to/from Haneda) is 208,000 yen (104,000 yen per person) for First Class with two window seats for two persons, 153,600 yen (76,800 yen) for Class J with two window seats for two persons, 128,000 yen (64,000 yen) for Standard Class with two window seats for two persons, and so on. First Class cannot be booked by a single passenger. Seat selection cannot be made at the time of reservation, but will be confirmed at the time of boarding procedures on the day of the flight.
