JR East expects that the “Midori-no Madoguchi” will be crowded mainly for advance sales of reserved-seat limited express tickets, etc. during the year-end and New Year holidays, and will increase the number of temporary windows starting in late November.
At five stations (Kawaguchi, Kita-Asaka, Minami-Koshigaya, Kawagoe, and Kuki), temporary “talking reserved seat ticket machine” windows will be opened on days when heavy use is expected. Also, at 45 stations in the Kanto, Tohoku, and Shinetsu areas, the number of “Midori-no-Madoguchi” ticket windows will be increased on days and times when heavy use is expected. In addition, employees will provide more information on reserved-seat ticket vending machines during busy times.
