1 Hotel Tokyo, the first luxury hotel in Japan, will open in the fall of 2025. Upper floors of Tokyo Worldgate Akasaka

Mori Trust announced on November 18 that it will invite its first luxury hotel in Japan, 1 Hotels, to the Tokyo Worldgate Akasaka, a large-scale mixed-use development project in the Akasaka area, to open in the fall of 2025 as 1 Hotel Tokyo.

Tokyo Worldgate Akasaka will be located on the 38th to 43rd floors of Akasaka Trust Tower (2-17-22 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo) and will feature 211 guest rooms. The building has a restaurant, cafe, fitness center, spa, swimming pool, and meeting rooms.

1 Hotels is a U.S.-based luxury hotel with a focus on sustainability that opened in Miami and Manhattan in 2015 and is currently expanding to Brooklyn, West Hollywood, Sanya, Toronto, San Francisco, Nashville, Hanalei Bay, and London.
