Tokyo Disney Resort is holding the special event “Disney Christmas” from November 15 to December 25. At Tokyo DisneySea, too, the New York area of the American Waterfront is overflowing with gorgeous Christmas decorations, creating a great atmosphere. In this article, we would like to report on the daytime Christmas decorations.
From the entrance to the Mediterranean Harbor, it’s all about Christmas!
During this season, the entrance is of course decorated for Christmas. The Tokyo DisneySea Maritime Band will also enliven the park with Christmas songs.
Trees line both sides of the gate, and MiraCosta Avenue is lined with gorgeous gold and silver Christmas lights. They are just the right size to take pictures with, and there are so many of them that there is little wait time when you want to take a commemorative photo.
When you exit to the Mediterranean Harbor, the flags in the plaza are also designed for Christmas. This year, three types of flags are decorated: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pluto. The characters in sweaters against the tree are adorable. The entrances to the surrounding stores are also colorfully decorated, creating a gorgeous atmosphere.
Some Cast Members will be holding Christmas-designed props for commemorative photos at several locations in the park. If you see one, be sure to borrow a garland and take a photo. Most of the cast members also have Christmas-only circular cards. They will hand them out to children and even adults if you ask them. You can write your wishes on the back of the card and hang it on your Christmas tree or other decorations, so talk to any Cast Member who seems to be available.
