PORTER, the long-awaited black from the new “TANKER” line. Total of 40 models including shoulder bags

Posted on 2024-11-262024-12-10 by Editor in Chief

Yoshida Kaban will release a new black color from PORTER’s TANKER series on November 29.

TANKER, inspired by the MA-1, was renewed in May to mark its 40th anniversary. It uses Ecodear N510, the world’s first 100% plant-derived nylon, which has been mass-produced in Japan while maintaining the same quality of strength, suppleness, and luster.

The long-awaited black, the third color since the renewal announcement, is characterized by a chic and unique atmosphere fused with TANKER’s unique glossy fabric. The deep black highlights the contours of the bag and brings out the beauty of the sewing.

The lineup consists of a total of 40 models, including a helmet bag that symbolizes the series, a duffel bag that embodies the original concept of the “military-inspired travel series,” and a new shoulder bag.

The parts have also been redesigned, with improved zippers that are easier to pull, pockets that can now be removed, and metal parts that prevent paint from peeling off, all with a focus on user-friendliness down to the smallest detail.
