Jetstar Japan will renew the uniforms it has worn for the past 12 years since it began service on November 28.
The day before, November 27, was the last day of the old uniform, and flight GK35 from Narita to Shanghai at 10:25 p.m. was the last opportunity to wear it at the check-in counter, at the departure gate, and on board the aircraft.
The company’s old uniform, with its bright orange corporate color, has been used by the Jetstar Group for 20 years since its establishment, with minor changes.
The familiar “orange and black” of the old uniforms will be replaced by “orange and dark blue,” which the new uniforms are said to be “inspired by the sunrise and sunset seen from an aircraft window.
In conjunction with the uniform changeover, the “black letters on orange” banners posted at check-in counters and in front of gates were also displayed for the last time on this day.
