NAVITIME Japan has launched a natural language chat-style travel consultation function using generated AI in the “NAVITIME Travel AI” available in the PC version of “NAVITIME Travel”.
This function searches for and suggests spots that match the user’s preferences through interaction with AI when the user enters questions or requests about spots of interest through NAVITIME Travel’s chat. In conjunction with the existing “trip planning” function, this function can suggest spots in consideration of the trip plan being created and add spots that the user likes to the trip plan.
The travel consultation function allows users to easily learn about tourist attractions, experiences, gourmet food, and other information in areas of interest to them through dialogue with the generated AI, leading to smooth travel planning.
In the future, the company plans to improve the accuracy of the AI generated based on usage conditions, add patterns that can be supported, and consider multilingual support for the “Japan Travel by NAVITIME” navigation service for foreign visitors to Japan. In addition, the company plans to develop services for corporate clients.
To use this function, you need to register and log in to the free “NAVITIME ID”. Free members can use this function up to 10 times a day, and paid members of the “NAVITIME Travel” application can use it up to 30 times a day.
