109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku will hold a special Christmas event “Christmas Magic in 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku”. The event will run from December 1 to 25.
The event commemorates the release of the latest Disney movies “Moana and the Legend of the Sea 2” and “The Lion King: Mufasa,” and will feature a special Christmas tree and Christmas gifts for moviegoers.
The main lounge on the 9th to 10th floors will be decorated with Christmas trees with ornaments from two films: “Moana and the Legend of the Sea 2” on the 9th floor and “The Lion King: Mufasa” collaboration tree on the 10th floor.
On December 24-25, a limited number of Christmas presents will be given to those who see either “Moana and the Legend of the Sea 2” or “The Lion King: Mufasa” at the theater. A campaign will also be held for those who fill out a questionnaire using the QR code displayed on the screen after viewing the movie to receive a gift.
In addition, the museum’s “THE BAR” will sell original cocktails for a limited time only. There are two types of cocktails: “Coconut Blue Ocean,” which evokes the image of the blue ocean, and “Hakuna Matata! which is reminiscent of the majestic savannah, are available for 1,200 yen each.
