On November 29, Ribmax opened “Ribmax Resort Yuhigaura Kizu Onsen” (196-2, Kizu, Amino-cho, Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture).
Rebranded from the former “Yebisuya” in Kizu Onsen, Kyoto, this hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Yuhigaura Kizu Onsen Station on the Kyoto Tango Railway.
The Taishokan, an art nouveau-style building with stained glass windows, is also known as an inn associated with Seicho Matsumoto, a great writer.
Meals are prepared with organically grown rice and vegetables, local fish from Tango, and other seasonal dishes. Dinner and breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room of the main building, overlooking the bamboo garden in the courtyard.
The “Sunset Ura Beach” in Amino-cho, Kyotango City is known as a famous sunset spot, and visitors can enjoy the sunset at their leisure on benches along “Sunset Road,” a walking path stretching along the beach.
