RNT Hotels will reopen the Richmond Hotel Sapporo Odori (4-4-1 Minami 2-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido) on December 1.
Located a 5-minute walk from Odori Station on the Namboku Subway Line or Tozai Line, the hotel has a total of 187 guest rooms. The design concept of this renewal is “Popke,” which means “warm” in Ainu language. Inspired by Hokkaido’s rich natural environment and traditional culture, the design is scattered throughout the guest rooms and throughout the hotel.
There are five room types: Standard Single, Moderate Double, Premier Corner Double, Standard Twin, and Japanese Modern Premier Twin ~Popke~. Standard twin rooms can accommodate up to 3 persons, and Japanese modern premier twin rooms ~Popke~ can accommodate up to 4 persons.
Also on December 2, Modish Sapporo, a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, will reopen. The renewal includes an increase in the number of seats and buffet lanes, and the restaurant’s wood-grain interior. The restaurant will offer a buffet breakfast featuring Hokkaido specialties, seafood rice bowls, and daily ramen noodles.
