Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts will open the hot spring resort hotel “TAOYA Kawaji” (22 Kawaji Onsen Kawaji, Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture) on February 1, 2025. Accompanying this, the company began accepting lodging reservations on December 2.
This hotel for adults offers a relaxing stay in a satoyama overlooking the Oga River, and is the eighth facility under the TAOYA brand nationwide. The hotel adopts an “all-inclusive” rate, which includes most of the services provided in the facilities, and offers free drinks and evening meals in the lounge with a fireplace. Guests can also relax with a drink in the Japanese garden with a footbath. Dinner is a buffet featuring a menu of Tochigi Prefecture ingredients and local yunamis (yunami), with unlimited alcohol and soft drinks.
Room types include modern Japanese-style rooms that combine Japanese relaxation with Western comfort and guest rooms with open-air baths. The hot spring baths include an open-air rock bath where you can hear the murmuring of a mountain stream and an indoor bath with large windows from which you can enjoy a view of the four seasons.
